Nigel Woods
Managing Director
Nigel Is a qualified tax advisor and chartered accountant with over 20 years in the financial services sector covering banking, reinsurance, aircraft leasing, securitisation and corporate trust structures.
For the last 13 years he has held senior roles and helped establish a number of trust companies in Ireland. He has specialised in aviation finance structures assisting and advising on a number of airline and lessor aviation platforms. Over the years He has sat on the board of a number of bank leasing subsidiaries and export credit agency SPV structures.
He has acted as Director and Chairman to over 200 entities in Ireland across various asset classes and sectors including shipping, property, green energy, life settlements and holding company structures.

Derek Maltby
Director
Derek is a qualified accountant with over 30 years’ experience in the financial sector in Dublin holding senior positions for a large Irish Bank and instrumental in setting up their corporate service platform which was one of the first in Ireland.
He headed up another Irish subsidiary of an international trust company for a number of years helping establish their presence in Ireland.
Recently he has been involved in assisting a number of US companies with their Irish operations and also assisting some family office operations.
Throughout his career he has sat on the board of several aviation entities, large securitisation structures and several Bank leasing platforms

Chris Spencer
Head of Aviation and UK Origination
Chris has been involved in aviation leasing and asset finance transactions for over 30 years and has experience of originating, structuring, funding and executing transactions for airlines, OEMs and other major corporates.
He recently assisted Virgin Atlantic on a number of fleet financing projects involving both Airbus and Boeing wide body aircraft. Chris’ more general asset finance experience covers a variety of high value asset types across a number of different jurisdictions and financing structures including utility assets and shipping.
Chris has held senior positions within major financial institutions including NatWest Bank, ABN AMRO Bank and Bank of Scotland and has acted as a Director on bank owned leasing platforms.

Oisin Kelly
Head of HRM and Recruitment
Oisin joined Amstrow in 2018 and serves on the boards of a diverse portfolio of Irish entities, where he contributes strategic insight, strong local expertise, and a commitment to the highest standards of corporate governance.
In addition, Oisin plays an integral role in supporting the corporate and financial structures managed by Amstrow Corporate Services, assisting clients in the establishment and efficient operation of entities within Ireland’s regulatory and business environment.
He also plays a key role in the company’s aircraft and engine lease management portfolio, overseeing monthly asset utilisation and ensuring full compliance with lease obligations in financial administration and reporting.
Oisin is a graduate of Dublin City University with a Master of Business Studies and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
